ABOUT
Established in 2002, Galerie Werner Fine Art Advisory was founded by Melanie Werner while living in Paris. During that time, French impressionists and European modern masters were favored, and through today these periods remain the gallery’s sweet spot.
A decade later, post-war, abstract expressionists, contemporary and well credentialed mid-career and emerging artists were added to the gallery’s roster.
With the rise of collectors migrating to sunny Florida, opening the Palm Beach advisory on elegant Worth Avenue was a logical next step. From this office, Werner advises, buys and sells blue-chip and contemporary works for private clients residing in Miami, Naples, and of course Palm Beach.
In 2024, GWFA was established in the Monte Carlo market to serve Europe-based clients. With a permanent office in Menton, staying in touch with collectors and accessing major art fairs such as TEFAF, Art Basel and Masterpiece London, has become easier. GWFA stays abreast of blue-chip works available from European galleries, advisors and collectors as well as contemporary European artists unrepresented in the US.
Housed in a restored belle epoque mansion, Galerie Werner is located in Pittsburgh's beautiful Shadyside neighborhood.
